Quality

The production of ProOvo eggs is under constant veterinary supervision and complies with the State regulations as well as the European legislation for egg production. Also the ProOvo employees are being trained according to the standards of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and the technological method of chicken rearing according to welfare.

This enforces quality as well as food safety and focuses on quality systems being implemented at all levels within the company.

All ProOvo barns have their own hygienic entrance room and the used technology complies with all the requirements for hens, which means the State Regulations No. 736/2002 Coll. on minimum norms for the protection of hens and No. 488/2002 Coll. on registration terms of premises. Also the egg classifying and grading facility are approved according to the Food Code of SR, Chapter 8.

Rearing and laying is under a permanent control of the contracting veterinary surgeon and bodies of the State Veterinary and Food Management. An internal directive for the correctness of production is drawn up according to HACCP and the ProOvo employees are being regularly trained.

ProOvo's production of eggs runs under an authorization to distribute within the European Community and has been given the veterinary controlling number 3 SK SC 1-6, which is stamped on the ProOvo eggs and egg box labels. Further, the ProOvo packing facility has been given the veterinary approval number SK SC 1-6. This number you can find on the egg box labels.
