Barn eggs
The barn eggs are eggs from hens in non-cage systems. The hens live in flocks and can move freely within a barn system. At least one third of the space in the barn is covered with straw, wood shaving, sand or turf. There can be up to 9 hens per square meters of usable area.
The free range hens don't have access to an outdoor area, but have free access to nests and perches in the barn.
We produce approximately 2,4 milion free range eggs yearly. |
